No Rules to New Rules

This is a perfect day to start living your life in a new way, a way without the rules you have been living by and the rules your parents lived by. You can now start living by your own ideas and by your instincts. Can you feel the freedom in that?

There’s nothing wrong with rules, per se. If the rules serve you and align with your values, then you have winning rules. But, how often are the rules you follow of someone else’s creation and design? How often do those rules not serve you, or worse yet, go against your values and needs?

In many ways, COVID-19 wiped the rule board clean. What worked before may not apply anymore, it may not even work anymore. A clean slate that you get to design is exciting!

Use the guiding principles you know to help you forge the path that your North Star can guide you to — a life of joy, contentment, and fulfillment.

Maybe, instead of going with the crowd and commonly accepted wisdom and practices, you can architect your own blueprint for the life you want. What would your personal life look and feel like? How do you envision your health to ultimately be? Any ideas of what business plan you’ll implement and who you will serve in what way? Now you can also tend to your spiritual side in a way that nurtures and satisfies you completely.

Going Against The Crowd

Going against the crowd has been the path of success for many creative, innovative, and successful people. Wrap that idea around you for a moment. Feel that difference. Can that be you?

Maybe you are the person who wants to be the follower and help others live their lives. That’s cool. Supporters and helpers are indeed needed. You have to ask: are you a leader or a follower?

If the answer is follower, find the leader who resonates most with your beliefs and style, and see if you can assist them.

If the answer is leader, spot your North Star and set out on your path to get there. That path may be quite different from anyone else’s. It’s going to be quite an adventure. Your path is going to be scary, exciting, challenging, and rewarding. Be prepared for bumps in the road — and the wind beneath your wings.

This is a perfect day to start living your life in your own new way. Create your own rules. Create your own reality. Be realistic and helpful, and then you can step into your future.
